I tried to open the document and it said that the file was damaged and could not be repaired. I guess I’ll have to wait for the CD to come. I am so impressed that you got back to me so quickly! Thank you! I’m looking forward to seeing my precious pictures- Dianne
Please disregard my last e-mail- I got the prints– How wonderful! Thank You so much– Dianne
QUESTION:
Help…I have a number of mounted 35 mm slides that were in those 8.5 x 11 plastic sheets with the compartments. We had a flood and now many of the slide images are sticking to the plastic compartment itself. Is there anyway to salvage these slides. They are photos of my paintings and the only documentation I have.
ANSWER:
They are probably irretrievable. Water dissolves the dye emulsion on the slide films.

Ed
QUESTION: I just had a random question. My family has 100′s of these slides and I purchased a slide scanner from Walmart. The problem is that there is no brightness control and the pictures are washed out! how are you able to scan these slides and get great quality? do you use a specific scanner? If so, how do you load the slides since there isn’t a track made for that specific slide?
REPLY: Sorry but, we make our living by doing this. We recommend against people buying junk scanners, on our website.

Ed
QUESTION:
I have 15 view master reels I’d like to have digitized. I live in Massachusetts, so would need to send them to you. Can you give me a price quote?
Thanks.
Christine
ANSWER:
Price is $10 per reel. That includes scanning one side of each pair on the reel.
Just confirming that I got your message. Thanks for making this so easy! Please call if you have any questions.

I have been meaning to email you to let you know that I think you did an outstanding job with the scanning project of the slides and making prints. My parents will be very happy when I present them with their 50th wedding anniversary gift. I will be sending more as the funds allow!
Thank you,
